Health Update: Oliver
Oliver was born able to breath on his own. Unlike Elliot, Oliver did not require a breathing tube, therefore he did not receive surfactin to help his lungs develop. Because of this his breathing skills ended up not developing quite as quick as Elliot's. The doctors tried administering the surfactin a few days after birth, but Oliver wasn't having it, so instead they went with a chin strap to help the oxygen he was receiving go in his lungs without escaping through his mouth. So if you are browsing the pictures and see a harsh looking chin strap, that is what it is. Now he is breathing much stronger and the strap is gone.
